Wow. Somebody actually predicted 12-4 and a trip to the dance. While I
personally believe that falls into the realm of narcotic intoxication, I do
not think 8-8 is out of the question at all. I like what I see. More
importantly, I like the buzz, the feel of camp. New era, fresh attitude.

On the subject of David Carr, this is the year. No more excuses. If he
cannot vastly improve in Gary Kubiak's system, then he truly is a bust. And
that improvement will be able to be seen this year, or it probably ain't
never gonna happen. No way Kubiak will even leave him in for the season if
he continues to stink up the joint. Rosenfels is sitting right behind him
and is quite capable.

To all you Eagle fans. Keep talking. Under the radar is where I like to be.
Be seein' ya the Monday after. There's gonna be a number of surprised
opposing coaching staffs this year I think.

I have to agree about Carr. Even if Young wasn't available in the draft, I
wouldn't have exercised the full three-year option on this guy. He did
nothing to earn it. His stats were about the same as that QB in Detroit who
got ran out of town on a rail.

I keep wondering why so many people are drinking Kubiak Koolaid. Bob
McNair has proven to me that he is too dumb to own an NFL franchise.
The Texans blew it the moment they drafted Mario Williams. They should
have drafted Vince Young, because David Carr has been ruined by 208
sacks in 4 years. He'll never do anything in Houston. Above and
beyond that, NOBODY associates "David Carr" and "leadership" in the
same sentence.

This team is bound for a 4-12 season, at worst 3-13, at best 5-11.

Even worse, the Texans have shown themselves to be in the same category
as the Cleveland Browns, Arizona Cardinals, and other consistantly
crappy teams. Thanks a lot Bob!

I don't make any predictions, but I hope you are here when the
season's over, whether you're right or wrong.

So what team are you a fan of?
I'm guessing that depends on who's winning!
